1. Service Description
We provide professional upholstery and sofa cleaning services for both domestic and commercial customers, including fabric and leather cleaning, stain treatment, deodourising and fabric protection. All services are carried out at the customer's premises or as otherwise agreed. We reserve the right to assess items before commencing work and may decline to proceed if an item is assessed as unsuitable or at risk of damage. Whilst we take every care, we do not guarantee the removal of all stains, particularly those that are pre-existing or have set in over time. Customers must disclose any known damage, previous treatments or other relevant conditions prior to the visit so that we can advise appropriately.
2. Quotations and Pricing
Quotes may be provided by telephone, email or in person and are treated as estimates unless confirmed in writing as a fixed price. Final pricing may vary if the condition of items differs materially from the description given at the time of quoting; any such variation will be communicated and agreed with you before work begins. Additional charges may apply for heavily soiled items, specialist treatments or access difficulties, and travel charges may apply for locations outside our standard service area. All prices will clearly state whether VAT is included or applicable.
3. Payment Terms
Payment is due in full upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, bank transfer and other methods as displayed on our website or confirmed at the time of booking. For business customers, invoices not settled within 14 days of the due date may incur a late payment charge in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, and we reserve the right to pursue outstanding balances through the appropriate legal channels. A deposit may be required for larger or commercial bookings; deposit terms will be confirmed at the time of booking.
4. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made with more than 48 hours' notice will incur no charge. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the quoted price. Same-day cancellations or failure to provide access may be charged at the full quoted rate. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to circumstances beyond our control, such as illness, equipment failure or severe weather; in such cases we will provide as much notice as possible and offer an alternative appointment. Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
5. Liability Limitations
We take all reasonable care when carrying out our services and carry appropriate public liability insurance. We are not liable for damage to items with pre-existing weaknesses, faults or undisclosed prior treatments, which is why we ask customers to inform us of any known issues before work commences. Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the value of the service provided, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
6. Complaints Procedure
If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us in the first instance by telephone on 07700 170870 or in writing at 19, 132 Agin Court, Charles St, Leicester LE1 1LE. We will acknowledge your complaint within 3 working days and aim to provide a full response or resolution within 14 working days. Complaints relating to the quality of our work should be raised within 7 days of the service being completed. If you remain dissatisfied following our response, you may seek independent advice from Citizens Advice or consider alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
7. Governing Law
These Terms of Business are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
